Prayer for the month of July

Father of all grace, you rested on the seventh day, and you call us to do the same. In this summer time, give us permission to be still — to lay down the weight of ministry, of productivity, of proving ourselves. Teach us that rest is not laziness but obedience. As Elijah rested beneath the juniper tree and you fed him for the journey ahead, so now feed us, restore us, and renew our vision. Let us come back to the table — not empty and striving — but full, refreshed, and ready. May stillness become our greatest act of faith. In your mercy. Amen.
