Prayer for the Month of June

Holy Spirit, we do not ask for power for power's sake — we ask for your power, that we may love the unlovable, forgive the unforgivable, and serve without ceasing. In this Pentecost season, teach us to yield. Where we are weak, be our strength. Where we are proud, help us to be humble. Where we are silent, loose our tongues to speak for justice and truth. May your gifts not sit dormant among us, but flow freely — gifts of healing, wisdom, and prophecy — for the building of your Body. You are not a memory of the early church; you are alive in us today. Move, Holy Spirit. Move. Amen.
