The Standing Committee of the Diocese is charged with the responsibility of choosing a place for Diocesan Convention in 2024 and going forward. They contacted the deans from the Eastern Deanery, Barbara and Bruce Turner, to assist them in their search for places that are available in the Eastern Deanery. They did their research and prepared an amazing document with pros and cons. Yes, each place they went to had its advantages and disadvantages. I visited the deans, the representatives from the Standing Committee and the Missioner in the area to help and work with them in figuring out the best place for us in the years to come so that we don't scramble for a place year after year.

We had a great time visiting, evaluating and talking about what might fit out needs.

I want to thank each of them for their time commitment and ministry to the church in Idaho. Now it is back to the Standing Committee to make their decision regarding the place. We wish them all the best and blessings.
