Bishop is pleased to introduce Mr. Sterling Blackwell to you. He is appointed to serve as the Master of Convention (a new volunteer ministry) beginning with the 2024 Convention and hopefully for years to come! He has been an educator for 16 years, teaching musical theater and a variety of other subjects across the Treasure Valley. He serves as a vestry member for the St. Luke’s parish in Weiser, ID, is a City Councilman, a local businessman, and a huge advocate for the arts (theater in particular)! When not in a classroom or a theater, Sterling is hiking in the beautiful mountains of Idaho.

Mr. Blackwell will serve as the sole point of contact for anything related to the Diocesan Convention. His role and ministry details will soon be published on the Diocesan Convention page. Carrol Keller will continue to serve as the Convention Secretary.

We want to welcome Sterling to the Diocese of Idaho's pool of volunteer ministers and thank him for saying yes to serving in this role.
