The Diocese Gathers

Beginning this evening clergy, wardens, delegates and guests will gather at Holy Nativity Church in Meridian for the 41^st Diocesan Convention.  What does this mean for you?  Well, on Sunday morning every church in the diocese will have Morning Prayer and a message from our new bishop, the Rt. Rev. Brian Thom.  At Ascension, we will also have special music from Joey Payne, Ascension Café and the continuation of the adult class - The World, the Flesh and the Devil.

Jeans Quilt Workshop

Our Savior Lutheran Church Artisan Fair

Join our friends at Our Savior for their Artisan Fair this Saturday, November 8

from10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.  There are 20 vendors and no admission charge.

 Our Savior is hosting the Neighbors-in-Need Raffle, so stop by, check out the doings and support Neighbors-in-Need.

First Christmas Pageant Meeting!

Our brand-new pageant directors would like to have a short meeting with pageant (Sleep Over in the Stable) participants after the 10AM service this Sunday. If you can not be there and want to participate, call Gwen at 736-4664.

E-Notes Editor: The Friday E-notes have become a useful and anticipated information system at Ascension.  We are in need of a new editor who will take over this ministry.  Please call Cindy Jardine (734-8594) for more information.

Bulletin Board Committee:  We have three bulletin boards for communication and sharing photos of parish events.  Can you work with a few others to keep them interesting and up to date? Please call the office (733-1248) if interested.

Thanksgiving Eve Hosts: Parish Life is looking for someone to co-ordinate the Thanksgiving Eve Reception. If you are willing or interested in more information, please call Judi Baxter (731-1232)

Are you in a mid-week slump, need some spiritual renewal, miss your Ascension friends?  Join us this Wednesday for Holy Eucharist at 7:00am or come to Bible Study at 11:00am and stay for Holy Eucharist at 12:15pm.
